Prenatal Yoga

45% of women hesitate to ask questions or share concerns during maternity care. Feeling unsupported during pregnancy can significantly increase the risk of depression, anxiety, stress, and poorer health outcomes—for both mama and baby.

Prenatal yoga offers you support—physically, emotionally, and socially. It provides a safe space to connect with your body and baby.

Benefits

Focuses on pelvic floor awareness, gentle strength-building, and stretches to ease common pregnancy discomforts.

Builds physical and mental resilience in preparation for labor.

Creates a community of support by connecting you with other expectant parents.

This class is designed for all trimesters, is low-impact, and requires no prior yoga experience. Please consult your healthcare provider if you have any concerns about participating.

Take this time to care for yourself and your baby—you both deserve it!

Postnatal Yoga

1 in 5 women experience a mental health or substance use disorder between pregnancy and the first year postpartum. Yet, 3 in 4 women with maternal mental health conditions go untreated or undiagnosed.

Postnatal Yoga is a complementary treatment that can reduce the risk of postpartum depression and improve your overall well-being.

By lowering stress and irritability, reducing blood pressure, and increasing relaxation, Postnatal Yoga helps you regain balance during one of the most transformative times in your life.

Why Postnatal Yoga Matters?

The postpartum period is filled with challenges. At 6–8 weeks postpartum, you might wake up every three hours to feed your baby, adjust to your body’s recovery, juggle older children's needs, or prepare to return to work. It’s easy to feel like there’s no time for yourself.

Postnatal Yoga carves out a space just for you. It’s designed to help you reconnect with your body, practice mindfulness in realistic ways, and move safely as you heal. The class focuses on:

  • Pelvic floor awareness to rebuild a strong foundation.

  • Core stability to support your posture and daily activities.

  • Gentle stretches to relieve common postpartum discomforts like shoulder and lower back tension.

  • Baby yoga poses to nurture your bond with your little one.

You don’t need to worry about anything besides bringing your baby and a blanket when you attend my class.

I am here to be your cheerleader—to remind you that you are stronger than you ever imagined. Pelvic Floor Yoga isn’t just about movement; it’s about reclaiming your strength, resilience, and confidence as a new parent. Together, we’ll help you thrive in this beautiful, transformative chapter of your life.

Pelvic Floor Yoga

Did you know that nearly 40% of women will experience pelvic floor dysfunction at some point in their lives? Pelvic floor dysfunction includes incontinence, organ prolapse, sexual dysfunction, and pelvic pain. Factors like number of births, assisted deliveries, and menopause significantly increase the likelihood of these issues.

Pelvic Floor Yoga is a powerful and supportive practice designed to address these challenges by:

  1. Increasing awareness of your pelvic floor.

  2. Strengthening the muscles in and around the pelvic floor through mindful movement and education.

This class is suitable for all levels. Unlike postnatal yoga, Pelvic Floor Yoga focuses on popular poses taught with the intention of relaxing and strengthening the pelvic floor.

Who Can Benefit?

  • New moms seeking to reconnect with their bodies.

  • Experienced yogis looking to refine their practice or learn new cues.

  • Desk workers aiming to counteract the effects of prolonged sitting.

  • Athletes who depend on core stability to perform at their best.

The pelvic floor is the foundation of all movement—and a key to enjoying the activities that bring us joy. Prioritize your well-being and rediscover strength, stability, and confidence with Pelvic Floor Yoga.
